dallas real estate agents: Better late than never! Outlook 2009 & My 15 Minutes of Fame. - 02/21/09 04:43 PM

Back in December, I commented to a client that I was quoted in the Residential Real Estate Outlook for 2009 article in the Dallas Business Journal. I promised that I would post a link from my Blog, but the Dallas Business Journal has a policy of keeping these articles accessible online for “subscribers only” for several weeks. Well, I got caught up in the holidays and a busy January and forgot to go back and post the article once it was publicly available… another tick on the clock of my “15 Minutes of Fame”.

dallas real estate agents: We need more Martha's! - 04/10/08 01:26 AM

It has been a LONG day.
I have spent the past few of weeks working with a young couple who are first time buyers on a good sized transaction. Throughout the transaction on the other end of the phone or e-mail was Martha, the listing agent with another brokerage who has many more years of real estate experience than my 4 years.
Today was the final day of my buyers' option period and after protracted negotiations they decided that they wanted to terminate their contract to buy Martha's client's house. I dreaded sharing the news with Martha. She has been very nice … (11 comments)
