I want to thank everyone for helping me achieve 30 blogs in 30 days.  It was your encouragement and comments that spurred me on.  If it weren't for all your kindness I would not have been able to continue to blog. 
Yes, I will receive 5000 bonus points; however, I received far more than bonus points.  I've received so assistance when I asked for help, I received comments on my blogs, and I even received a "featured post" this month.  Iin large part thanks to all of you.

We have a listing that is absolutely stunning custom home in North Beach, MD 20714.   In this case you certainly cannot tell the book by it's cover.  The workmanship is unbelievable and the views of the water are breathtaking.  It's really a must see.  The price is definitely right.

Maryland Cell Phone BAN.. EFFECTIVE 10/1/10..8th State to pass this law - 09/28/10 08:54 AM
Maryland fought for this ban to be a primary offense, however, it's a secondary offense and one can be stopped for this offense if there is a first offense noted.  Too bad.  Cell phones are dangerous.  You must go hands free in MD starting on 10/01/10.

My vote is yes to the Buyer with the Clipboard.  I agree, the buyer is more organized and also it helps them keep track of what they like.  It's a win-win.  I also believe a Realtor should carry a clipboard, as well.  This shows the buyer, the agent is also seroius. :-)

This is yet another reblog about the 3.8% sales tax on real estate as written in the Health Care Bill... .we should be outraged over this slip in the bill. What is wrong with these politicians.  They print all the money at will for a war and anything else to keep the masses at bay an then turn around and then dream-up some ridiculous tax.  This was a terrible compromise.

Turning Around IS an Option! - 09/21/10 03:24 AM
I absolutely hadn't tought of "turning around".  I do lots of rentals and even on sales I will not do more than 7 in one day's outing, unless I have a great rapport with someone.  No no can possibly recall 7 properites, unless they are willing to birng pencil and paper.  I do not allow anyone to video or take pictures of anyone's interior without written, signed consent from both the owner's and the seller's agent.  Thanks Margaret, great read.

Equator.com CANNOT Accept or Deny a Short Sale. - 09/20/10 03:40 PM
Absolutely true.  Equator is just a servicer, a place where all the information is stored for the negotiators, etc.  Having worked short sales with B of A, this is a big improvement.  No more having to fax the same docs over and over again.  However, I heard B of A is streamlining their short sale process. Whoever might be interested should visit the Harris (no relation) University website.

Is it true if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8% sales tax on it? That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home etc.
 
It appears to be in the healthcare bill.

Wouldn't it be a great idea while keeping our cameras close to snap some pictures of those that provide us great service.  And, when we get exceptional service from someone whether it be at the hardware store, cell phone store, or any other location to take a snap shot and blog about that person.  Then email the article here to the person or the company. 
So many times people that provide excellent service get left by the wayside and it's the people who mess up that we complain about who get all the attention.  How about turn things around and let's start blogging about the good … (8 comments)

Tip of the Day...Baking Soda and your Drains - 09/16/10 07:04 AM
I love this post.  Wow, so many  uses for baking soda an vinegar.  I know use venegar on my kitchen counters to clean them.  Works great.  I use vinegar on my awful mesquiito bites.  I itch so much.  One night I realized I ran out of "itching cream" and was gong crazy, so I thought, what the heck...I'll try vinegar.  Took the itch right away and helped me sleep.  In the morning my bites did not look like welts.  Yippee.

I should have checked this out... snopes.com says this really happened but does not verify that the number was correct #112. THIS IS NOT THE NUMBER BUT THE STORY IS WORTH READING...JUST THE SAME.   I DID CALL our local Sheriff's Dept. and they said dial 911.  Odd, because I thought you couldn't get a fix with a cell phone by calling 911!!!
