What Happens at the Meet-Up...Stays at the Meet-up - 04/30/12 03:59 PM
What Happens at the Meet-Up...Stays at the Meet-Up Said by my good friend Sheila Moran at our San Antonio TX (Spring) Fiesta Meet-Up on April 19th at the Alamo Cafe. I must say, I had a blast getting together with those Active Rain members I already knew, such as Kristin Moran (who hosted), Sheila Moran (who also hosted), Jeanna Martinez, Jerry Newman, and Cathy Bureau and meeting new friends such as Susie Sheffield and Judy Morgan. Now, I have to say that I felt a tad sorry for Jerry he was the only gentleman there surrounded by all of us ladies...but he didn't seem to mind too badly :)! What could be better than meeting up (28 comments)

Commenting on my Active Rain Posts May Make You Famous!! - 04/27/12 10:10 AM
Commenting on my Active Rain Posts May Make You Famous!! Updated So, how cool. I get this Facebook message from Andrea Bedard...well, check it out! I wrote a post, Stupid Lowball Offer...or No Offer...You Choose, a while ago and it truly hit a nerve with many, many agents across the Active Rain spectrum. In fact, I received many kind e-mails about my method of thinking from other agents. I was quite pleasantly surprised. It ever got the attention of Mr. Kenneth R. Harney a writer with the Washington Post Writers Group, who had read my post, called me and talked to me a little while about (79 comments)
Goodbye Sasha - 04/23/12 10:54 AM
Goodbye Sasha Today was a very sad day for me...I had to take my sweet friend, Sasha to go where all cats can jump, play and be free at all times. Sasha was a big part of our lives and a kitty we liked to call bipolar, (she would have these random moments of craziness that were truly quite entertaining). There just wasn't a cat like her. She loved to cuddle under blankets, give kisses and eat at the kitchen table. We were pretty sure she thought she was human. She often sat on my desk with me while I was (23 comments)
Good afternoon. About 3 days ago I decided to write this post called Like Me...Please. Why? Well, because for weeks now, I had been staring at my Facebook Fan/Business Page with 97 likes on it and it was getting a tad annoying. I have constantly heard that one must have 100 Likes on their FB Page to get their own unique URL and although I still don't really know what that means for me and for my business, I figured since it had been mentioned soooo many times, that there must be something to it. So, on April (28 comments)

Like Me...Please - 04/17/12 05:07 PM
Like Me...Please I read an awesome members only post by Dick Greenberg today about an interesting way to get more likes on our Facebook Pages. The post is funny and although I can't link to it, you may want to go by and check it out. If you stopped by to read it, you may figure out how to NOT get likes on your FB Page. Now...what I am doing here, may be considered one of those ways; however, I have this annoying little problem with my page that I was hoping my AR friends could help me with.... Stupid Lowball Offer...or No Offer...You Choose - 04/11/12 08:15 AM
Stupid Lowball Offer...or No Offer...You ChooseThere is lots of talk on Active Rain about lowball offers being stupid and a waste of time and I completely agree to a point. Lowball offers are very frustrating and can be thought of as stupid, (but they don't necessarily have to be thought of as a waste of time). As a listing agent, I do a complete market analysis for my clients and advise them on the best possible pricing to get them to the goal they desire. Obviously, we all want the full price offer so that we can continue merrily on our way with happy sellers, (172 comments)
Renting a Home is Like Leasing a Car...Sounds Good at First - 04/07/12 08:34 AM
Renting a Home is Like Leasing a Car...Sounds Good at First Renting a home is like leasing a car...it can sound good at first until you find out that renting, just like leasing a car, can end up being a lot more expensive then just buying one out right. Many moons ago, when I went to buy my first car, the sales folks there convinced me that leasing a car would be the way to go. It seemed really attractive! The payments on a new car were low and all I had to do was bring the car back in great condition (normal (43 comments)
