I recently passed by a sign at Hillcrest Elementary School in Catonsville, Maryland and it read, "Property values are directly proportionate to school Quality". As a realtor I have found this to be very true. Today's young buyers rank "Quality of Life" as their number one goal when searching for a community to live and number one on that list is the quality of the school system. If you want proof, look at all of the communities where home values have escalated or have fallen the least during these tuff economic times and you will find that they have one thing … (0 comments)

I have been asked many times over the past couple of weeks, "is now a good time to buy a home" and I always reply, absolutely! If you are thinking about buying a home or if you are on the fence and can't make up your mind I have to ask, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? This is the best "Buyer's Market" I have ever experienced. Interest rates are at historic lows, now around 4.18% or lower. Sellers are making more concessions than ever and there are some great deals out there.
