Curb Appeal-The first impression is the most lasting impression a buyer will have of your home. That being said you must WOW them from the start. I recently passed by a sign at Hillcrest Elementary School in Catonsville, Maryland and it read, "Property values are directly proportionate to school Quality". As a realtor I have found this to be very true. Today's young buyers rank "Quality of Life" as their number one goal when searching for a community to live and number one on that list is the quality of the school system. I have been asked many times over the past couple of weeks, "is now a good time to buy a home" and I always reply, absolutely! If you are thinking about buying a home or if you are on the fence and can't make up your mind I have to ask, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? This is the best "Buyer's Market" I have ever experienced. Interest rates are at historic lows, now around 4.18% or lower. Sellers are making more concessions than ever and there are some great deals out there.
