      <description>&lt;p&gt;December 13th &amp;nbsp;Buhl Chamber of Commerce will be holding it's annual&amp;nbsp; Night&amp;nbsp;Light&amp;nbsp;Christmas. This years&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;theme is "Christmas Around the World.&amp;nbsp;It will be a full day and evening event. During the day the&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;business will have in store specials and drawings. Ribbon cuttings for Rio Hondo's at noon and Buhl Winkle&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Vendor's Mall at 2 pm. A craft show and events with a chili feed and entertainment by the Jordan River&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Band downtown. In the evening will be the night parade. Following the parade the Eigth Street Center&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;will be hosting an open house with hot chocolate, cookies and caroling.&lt;/p&gt;

      <description>&lt;p&gt;I have a red Centro phone, which I really like. It does everything I need and the size is perfect.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am now phoneless though. Today I got up and my phone went crazy. It kept trying to hot sync to&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;my computer, over and over, would not let me make or take a call. Has this happened to anyone&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;else. Sprint is replacing it but I am without a phone for 3 days. I feel lost. It is amazing how&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;much my phone is part of my life.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Why is it that when you least can afford the time and money that the household&amp;nbsp;appliances&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;decide to break?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;It is very cold and windy today and at the last minute my 17 year old son decides to&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;wash his work clothes. With no time to spare he puts them in the washer and it won't&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;spin the water out. I am off to an appointment that is in another town and here we are&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;ringing out his pants and shirt for work. Well he made it half wet. Why don't they go out&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;on a day when you really don't need them.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;I decided to take my son's homeschool class in Keyboarding with him. Boy, I thought I was good&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;at typing. Let me tell you to do it correctly with all the correct fingers is harder than I ever imagined.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The letters are easy but the numbers and all the symbols are very hard to do correctly and be timed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am being challenged thats for sure.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Business is better</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;We are seeing business pick up in our office, more offers this week then we have seen in the last&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;few months.&amp;nbsp; We own an antique store too, for the last few months nobody was even coming&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;in the door. This week we have had several people a day. Not all are spending alot, but they&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;are looking and spending alittle. I think gas prices are helping. Lots of out of town buyers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;I hope this trend will continue for awhile, it nice to be busy again. How are things in your area?&lt;/p&gt;</description>

&lt;p&gt;I was a fish and game rescue person in the state of Nevada. I had Bobcats, Lynx and Cougars.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is a picture of the cougar Char. She had been raised by a couple from a ktten, but as she grew&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;larger and larger they did'nt know what to do with her, so she came to live with me.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;She was the sweetest cat I ever had. She died about 2 years ago at the age of 10.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I could walk her on a leash down the street or at the park, Her favorite thing to do was&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;go swiming.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;She would greet us in the kennel door and throw her paws on our shoulders and put us on the&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;ground and lick us.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This was a great experience for me. I had the cats about 9 years. Then moved to Idaho&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;and did not start here.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Today I went to the Senior Center&amp;nbsp;for lunch. We have a citizen's commitee formed to find&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;new ways to help fund the money needed for a water project in Buhl. The city had been&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;mandated to clean the aresenic out of our water. This project will cost every household&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;$27.00 more on the water bill. Bringing the total bill to $130.00 per month. We are a&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;small town of 5000 people and not large incomes.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Our committee was speaking to the seniors on this project. It made me thing about&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;America, I think we all need to speak up and fight for all the little things that we are&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;being charged for. Americans need to take back control of the local government by&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;being present at our city counsil meeting and letting them hear what we think,&lt;/p&gt;</description>

&lt;p&gt;roofs are covered. Last week it was warm and the roses were blooming. What a difference a&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;few days can make. Not to fear though it will be back in the 60's by the end of the week.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 11pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 11pt;"&gt;Thank goodness it is not this bad in our area yet. We are still stable&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 11pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 11pt;"&gt;but alot slower, longer days on the market. Praying the bailout and&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 11pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 11pt;"&gt;the election will help people feel better about buying and selling.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 11pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 11pt;"&gt;I am staying positive and working harder. I will survive.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;1. Yard sales: Yard sales are good, people are relaxed and when they see my name tag&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; or my truck signage they ask questions. This usually starts several conversation and&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; has gotten me several listings and buyers. I also leave a few cards with the person&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; having the yard sale and ask them to hand them out if someone mentions they are&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; in town looking at real estate.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2.&amp;nbsp;This one happened just by accident. I was shopping with my husband at a local grocery&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; store the kind where you bag your own stuff. My cart was loaded so I stood off to the&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; side and waited for him, as it turned out I was standing next to the rack where the local&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; real estat book rack was. Several people stopped and picked up books, so I thought&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I should say something. Well I did and that day I got two buyers. So now when I shop&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I stand there&amp;nbsp;for a few minutes and will almost always at least have a conversation or&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; pick up a lead.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Seem the out of the&amp;nbsp; box stuff is fun and can work.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Harder to Get a Deal Through</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;I have had a rough week. I had two really good potential deals. One was a young guy who is&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;a single dad. He was looking for a place with a little acerage in the country. We just don't&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;have any listed in his price range that could fit his lender requirements. Three days of driving&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;around and he finds a fsbo that won't work with a Realtor. He gets a good deals and buys&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;it without me as he can't afford to pay me and put up his down payment. I am happy for&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;him that he got a home that will work for him.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Then I have a couple moving to the area looking for a 20 acre farm. We look at many homes&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;some that will work some that won't. They get very frustrated with the covenants and county&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;requlations. They just cant seem to get past the PMI on their loan and all the rules of farm&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;property. So they are pretty much in the holding pattern. Not sure if they will buy or not.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I quess I just wanted to vent on the times and the market. Sure is alot harder to get a deal&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;through.&lt;/p&gt;

      <description>&lt;p&gt;I had one of my rual listings broken into this weekend. It is located in the country and set&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;back a long ways from the main road. The owner left in a hurry as he is horse breeder. He&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;was to be gone a few weeks and that turned into months. His land had gotten very over&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;grown with weeds. The price is right and this property has had many showings. I got&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;a call this weekend that the house had been robbed. They had pulled in a truck and&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;trailer and wiped him out. They took everything stove, refrigerator, washer dryer and&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;even cleaned out the sheds.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is this happening in your areas? This happened in a small town Buhl, Idaho. There has&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;been alot in Boise in the upper end model homes, but in a small community it shows&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;that times are getting harder. Our vacant homes are going to have to do more to&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;appear lived in.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Buhl, Idaho Motorcycle accident</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;Tonight around 6 there was a serious accident on Main St&amp;nbsp; in Buhl in front of the post office. A small car&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;was making a u-turn and struck a motorcycle. The person on the bike was a young man.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Injury to the biker &amp;nbsp;looked to be very serious. Please pray for the family and the driver of the car.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This will be a&amp;nbsp; very hard night for all involved.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Great news. The kid had some head trauma but for the most part will be fine. Should be out&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;of the hospital in a couple of days. YEAH. Sometimes there is a good ending. Thank you&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;day I picked up 700,000 CMA for a possible listing, 300,000 listing and a buyer&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;for my land listing.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have always believed that face to face is the best prospecting we can do. People&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;need to see you and feel they know a little about you, I don't believe a letter&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;or phone call can give that personal touch.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
