“I became aware of the Homes for Heroes organization speaking with a realtor from a different part of the country. I decided to become involved immediately! My parents both served in WWII, my Dad in the South Pacific with the Army, and Mom was a Navy Wave in Norfolk, VA. They both served proudly, and passed on their strong patriotic values to our family. Lucy Martinez is a veteran Loan Officer with over 20 years of experience in the mortgage business, currently working for W.J. Bradley Mortgage, an innovative and fun company with nationwide offices.

She started originating loans in California in 1989 during the big refinancing boom that followed the drop on interest rates at that time, and relocated to Utah with her family in 1996 where she has worked as a Loan Officer for a number of Banks and Mortgage Companies including First Security Bank, Well Fargo Bank, Wardley Mortgage, Bank of Utah and Citywide Home Loans. She also owned a Mortgage Company in 2000.

For the past two summers Lucy has been playing golf at a small 9-hole golf course and hopes this summer she will enjoy playing in a full size course.
