“I can relate; I had a brother serve in Korea and one in Vietnam both in the Army. Families also give as their family members serve. I served in the USAF from 1971 for 4 years, spending 15 months in Thailand Korat Air Force Base during the Vietnam War. During my tour in Thailand, I had the opportunity to experience my appendix rupture which I wish on no one. I was transported via “AIR” and admitted to the hospital. My record reads:
