Ralph Kennedy, Member Canaveral Port Authority gave a compelling talk about the future of The Port and it's impact on the local economy. Most people think of the Space Program as the heavy hitter in local employment. I was happily surprised to hear that Port Canaveral (directly and indirectly) employs some 23,000 people.
