With so many baby boomers retiring in Florida. the request for 55+ communities comes up frequently.  I wanted to provide a comprehensive list, but found such a list very illusive.  I came across a government site which indeed provides a list of these communities.  The link below is specifically for Brevard County, but if you use the search field you can research any county in Florida.

These buyers are the parents of friends of mine and they were amazing to work with.  Every little thing I did was so appreciated by them, it made doing my job very easy.  They got a really good buy on a fabulous little home that was very well maintained, well-loved, and had loads of upgrades in a location that's perfect for their busy lifestyle.  It's hard to believe that houses like this can cost so little.....but I have a feeling buys like this will become harder and harder to find.  THE MARKET HAS CHANGED!

After messing around for about a month trying to negotiate on a Fannie Mae foreclosure, getting bid up over list price, having a dismal home inspection, my buyer finally gave up and we went in search of a home NOT undergoing some foreclosure or short-sale procedure. I made the decision at the end of 2007 to leave Coldwell Banker, in favor of starting my own company. It's certainly been a hectic few weeks covering all the items that accompany such a decision. Hectic, but also fun and exciting! Meetings with the designer working on my image are nearing an end and I'm very much looking forward to getting the materials and signs printed up.
