In MLS Area 103 Currently there are:
419 active listings priced from $2,500 - $1,100,000 76 are short sales 25 are REO's (bank owned)There are 73 properties currently under contract 27 short sales17 REO's187 properties have closed in 200945 short sales54 REO's
237 properties closed in 2008 17 short sales42 REO's
From the last report it appears that Area 103 is having more success getting short sales closed. This could be a good sign that banks are starting to move this process … (4 comments)

As suspected because this is a jpg you must add the necessary verbiage to meet A|R's word count requirement. Also, using "save other - export as HTML" did produce the image file but the image was not there. I can't explain this as it worked before. What I did was captured the screen shot and pasted it into my photo program then saved it as a jpg. This is a very useful feature for saving screenshots as images. It has a small learning curve, nothing compared to Word. Have fun, hope this is a useful tool in your ToolKit.

NOT AGAIN ~ Yes again!!!! I'm looking into this now as it just appeared this morning. It was picked up by CA Anti-Virus. So far not much information coming from the net, except it seems to be invading our systems from embedded YouTube video. The only YouTube I viewed was late yesterday from an A|R member's site. I have 4 infected items all located in Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\08HP35PG\l[1].swf. I'm performing the required scans, etc. but nothing is showing up!
Bottom line for now is don't embed from YouTube, please pass along any information you might have and I will do the same as … (35 comments)

The website is extremely well organized, very user friendly, and brings a wealth of information to us with a few clicks of the mouse. In case you missed it, here are some pictures of the USS New York, the warship partially built from 24 tons of scrap steel from the ruins of the World Trade Center. This is a new class of warship designed for special missions which include anti-terrorist operations - how appropriate! I may be from the Peace and Love generation, but for me there's no cheek turning when it comes to 9/11.

Meet my 2 trusting, loving, gorgeous (albeit) high-maintenance Himalayans. They weren't exactly rescued but the breeder was very happy to give them to a good home. I had one of her Himmies before, for over 17 years so she knew who was getting her kittens. These cats are now so over-bred that their little faces are EX-tremely smooshed which causes them horrendous sinus & drainage problems. But since they don't know any better they just act like any other normal cat. I have to wash their faces all the time but that's OK, we all know the drill. They're both 9 years old now. I recently added this handy little freebie which you can get from this website: www.polldaddy.com You can set it up to do polls or surveys. They have a nice selection of skins and the setup was pretty painless. I currently have it on the sidebar on my blog....so if you're in Florida and going to the FAR convention, please take the poll. I hate it because I receive more than my share of the obnoxious stuff, it really hate it because it wastes too much valuable time. A little background before I continue might be helpful - my website is with Point2Agent and to make a long story short, I use their POP3 for my email. If I apply even the smallest filter against spam I end up not receiving important email which means nothing gets filtered. I receive several hundred spam emails a day, it's making me crazy!!!

This is just a gentle reminder to please leave your business card when you have been in a home for a showing. One of my listings is a young couple, a stay-at-home mom with a two-year old. She's very sweet and obliging, always leaving the house for the showing - no small task when rounding up the little one. She has not once mentioned being inconvenienced even if it's nap time or dinner time. We have had a lot of showings, but unfortunately only about 2 or 3 out of 10 have been leaving their card. I made the decision at the end of 2007 to leave Coldwell Banker, in favor of starting my own company. It's certainly been a hectic few weeks covering all the items that accompany such a decision. Hectic, but also fun and exciting! Meetings with the designer working on my image are nearing an end and I'm very much looking forward to getting the materials and signs printed up.
