I am trained as a nurse practitioner and still work part time in an emergency department. Benefits, you know. Anyway, we see a large volume of people that are not at their best.  It is easy to become very jaded.

The idea of perfection is subjecctive as well as dynamic depending upon the situation.  Very few people would disagree that Bo Derek was a '10'. Even I wouldn't argue that despite being a very heterosexual female. So short of Bo Derek what constitutes being a perfect '10'?
Again, perfection depends upon what you're describing and who you're asking.  I've submitted offers on houses that I would certainly not care to own but the buyers are in love with the property.  I have owned houses that seemed perfect for my family but once lived in quickly became less than perfect.
