Vignettes designed for Possible Wedding Themes - 10/25/08 10:31 AM
I was asked to design some possible centre piece ideas for a friends wedding, she is getting married in the winter months. Here are a few ideas and examples that I came up with to present to the bride and groom. I choose to present each theme in the form of a vignette.  Hopefully in that way the couple could also pick up a vibe or a theme for the wedding that appeals to them, rather than just choosing a centre piece they would be choosing the overall look of the wedding day. Hope Designs Recent Article on REDESIGN - 10/24/08 11:36 AM
As a Home Stager and Re-designer, I feel it is important to spread our message that "Staging Works" in as many places and homes as possible. I have published several articles on Staging before and I felt it was time to also spread the word on Redesign, since it is a relatively new term and concept but well worth bringing to the forefront. Imagine having the luxury of having your rooms redesigned by a professional decorator redesigner for a fraction of the cost compared to traditonal design rates.

Radio Interview- Lori Howard of Hope Designs - 10/24/08 09:50 AM
I was recently interviewed on our Local Radio Station Caledon Radio, in July 08. I just gained access to the photos and I wanted to make sure I shared a picture of myself with my AR Friends.
Wow,  was it ever exhilarating!  The Realtor interviewing me was Sarah Fleming of Remax West Realty, She conducts a weekly show called Real Estate Radio.  Topics that we discussed included everything from "What is Home Staging?", "Top five things to do to increase curb appeal?" and "How staging helps to sell homes in a buyer's market?".

Hope Designs recently had the pleasure of staging a 1.3 Million Dollar Home north of Toronto Ont. Here are the updated photos.
This home sits on just over an acre of property and boasts a beautiful in ground pool with a waterfall and huge cabana, pool house. it is absolutely stunning!
The house took several days and a crew of 3 people to stage, but I believe the results are well worth the effort.
The house is a rare find, the proof is in the pictures!!

HOPE DESIGNS Recent Before and Afters - 10/21/08 05:52 PM
This house was an absolute pleasure to work on. It is in a beautiful neighborhood North of Toronto Ont.
Below are a few of the before and after pictures. It is amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do!
Hope Designs suggested several changes to the homeowners, changing the paint colours was #1, but another thing that helped to brighten up each room was to remove all of the existing heavy draperies. This allows potential buyers to see the "Million Dollar View" as soon as they enter the house.
