Speechless Sunday:  Architectural Details

It's really fun to walk through some of Washington's historic neighborhoods looking at those little touches that make these old places so interesting.  I took this in Georgetown.  I've passed this house a bunch of times.  I'm not sure what the roof is made of.  It looks like some sort of metal.  It's probably not copper because there is no oxidation. 
Then there is the brickwork under the window - you see a lot of this in the homes built around the late 1800's.
