Yep, you read that right, a study by McCrindle Research on the top 10 baby names in Australia found an interesting trend among Generation X. Wayne GretzkyBack in September, we wrote about Wayne Gretzky putting his mansion in southern California on the market (Hot Properties – Madona, Gretzky and Tommy Lee). During the sale of his home in Thousand Oaks, CA there was much speculation about Gretzky selling the property to devote more time to his Creekside Estate Winery in Niagara Falls, Canada. Yet Gretzky has purchased another home in southern California not far off from his old estate. The new … (0 comments)

By: Chris Brubaker

The battle between video and photo in the real estate industry is a complicated one, as each has their own pros and cons and is very situation dependent. What I’ve laid out below is a general overview of each type of tour to help real estate professionals decide what is best in their circumstances. First off we need to make sure everyone is on the same page in terms of definitions. A video tour is one in which a video camera is used to make a short video about a home. A “virtual tour” is a way … (45 comments)

Matthew McConaugheyBig time Hollywood bachelor Matthew McConaughey has recently moved out of his RV and into an actual home in Malibu, CA. The home’s sale was under strange circumstances as The Times reported that the home wasn’t even on the market when McConaughey walked up to the house and knocked on the door. The home sitting on a little over an acre is 3,500 sq. ft. featuring four bedrooms and three baths. While the house isn’t an obvious giant mansion it is only a couple of lots away from the beach.Matthew McConaughey’s house

mobile technology: The New Cubicle - 10/22/07 11:57 AM
When someone tells you to picture an office what do you see? Most people will describe an environment filled with cubicle after cubicle. Many office jokes are based around this simple office furniture, yet the actual intent of the cubicle was to keep employees productive and focused, whether or not this is the case is up for debate. Lately there has been a shift with new companies shying away from using the cubicle and leaning towards open environments. Yet the issue of productivity and the ability to keep focused still remain.
When researching this issue here at HouseFront I came … (8 comments)

The system is designed to work in conjunction with the EAS (Emergency Alert System), the same system that you hear or see on the TV and radio every now and then (you know the ”this is only a test…”).
The SMS system will actually be a part of a new emergency alert system titled DEAS (Digital Emergency Alert System). The system got its start in 2004 when The Department of Homeland … (4 comments)
