INVENTORY CONTROL: SKU v. BARCODE - 06/26/10 03:26 PM
When starting a new business, it's all too tempting to purchase the best, the brightest, the newest, the most technologically advanced equipment.  A Ford F-150 is nice, but a Navigator is nicer (actually, it is <G>).
So, I'm sure there's not a stager out there who didn't look at a barcode scanning device with the clear intentions of having a smooth running inventory control system, and a warehouse that ran like distribution centers at WalMart!   As a former retailer, I can tell you that the problem with barcode is keeping the darn barcode affixed to the merchandise.  Then, in our business, … (11 comments)
