Looking For Leads In All The Right Places Johnny Loewy
Looking for Leads in All the Right Places is designed to teach REALTORS® how to increase their earning potential through inexpensive methods of prospecting for residential and commercial clients, allowing agents to keep more of their money.
Without prospecting, nothing else matters. If REALTORS® aren't prospecting they aren't prospering. Many new REALTORS® ask the question, "Where do I start?" and many experienced REALTORS® ask, "What am I doing wrong?" This course answers both questions, with some new twists. We will focus on goal-setting, time management, listing expireds, withdrawns and FSBOs, commercial prospecting, finding and qualifying buyers and building a referral business. It will give the new or experienced REALTOR® a thorough understanding of a variety of prospecting methods that work in every market and on any budget.
Taught in a fun and high-energy style, this course is sure to increase business for REALTORS® at any level of their career. To finish the day, students may stay after the regular class for a call session. Johnny will provide leads and coach on the phones while students set FSBO appointments. The optional call session will run from 6:00pm - 7:30pm.
Lunch and course materials included.

I was introduced to Dan Castro when Tami Bonnell sent me his book, Critical Choices That Changes Lives. I sat up & started taking notes after reading this line just a couple pages into the book, "Every now and then, someone comes along and lifts our burdens and shows us the way. That's what I hope this book does for you."
The book arrived via FedEx, just minutes after I was burdened with some of the worst news of my life, news that Tami had no idea about, and the concepts in the book spoke directly to the burdens I was bearing. It is the first time I have read a book of this length, cover-to-cover without stopping, and below this shot of the book are some bullet points of what I've learned from Dan Castro.
Needless to say, I highly recommend the book, whether you are currently faced with adversity, or to be prepared for future adversity in your life. Buy this book! The remainder of videos of his speech are at the bottom of this post.
The Seven Laws of Critical Focus:
Our most recent experiences influence what we focus on, whether we like it or not.
What we focus on determines what we believe.
What we believe determines what we expect.
We tend to see what we're expecting to see.
We tend to filter out what we're not expecting to see.
The more we see, the more options are available to us.
We have the power to choose what to focus on, no matter what is going on in the world around us.
There are no impossible situations in life, only difficult decisions waiting to be made.
If someone can control what we focus on, they can control what we believe.
Heroes focus on the purpose on the other side of pain.
Have you ever stopped and made a list of things you'd like to do for the sake of humanity before you die? What if money & time were not obstacles? Now what what you do? Make a list. Now ask yourself, "What's the tiniest of baby steps I can take this month toward accomplishing this dream?" Now go out and take that baby step.
Control what you think about and you can control the direction your life takes. Control what you read, what you watch, and who you associate with, and you can control how you think and feel. You can begin reshaping your life today simply by reading about, studying, and pouring your energies in the direction you want your life to go.
I too often pray for a way to reach the tops of the coconut tress when I should be praying to reach the stars. Are we praying to the God of the universe, or to the God of the coconuts? When we remember who it is we are asking, the realm of realistic possibilities is expanded by a quantum leap. God is not limited by anything.
"If you want to see Eagles fly, you have to go where Eagles fly." So, if you want to see something great accomplished, you have to first take that risk, that first scary step, to put yourself in that place where the Eagles will fly for you, before you are actually there, seeing them fly. You can't say, "when I see the Eagles fly, I will go to the mountain." You have to go to the mountain first and THEN you will see the Eagles fly. This applies to any dream or goal in my life. I can't wait for things to fall in line that lead me to believe I will reach my dream or goal, I have to do the things that seem risky, by faith, with NO assurance it will work, in order for it to work. The Eagles aren't going to fly outside my office window, I have go where they WILL fly, FIRST!

We have loved Jon Gordon's stuff for a while, beginning with implementing his "Energy Bus" philosophy to our business. He has written several books, sends a free "Positive Tip" weekly newsletter that we look forward to reading each Monday morning to start our work week on a positive note, has many other great resources on his website, and as you will see in the video, he is a great speaker.
Part 1 of his video (other 3 parts are at the bottom of this post):
Below are some bullet points of what we learned from Jon's books and speech. Please leave comments from what YOU have learned from Jon!
10 Rules For the Ride of Your Life:
You're the Driver of the Bus
Desire, Vision and Focus move your bus in the right direction.
Fuel your Ride with Positive Energy.
Invite People on Your Bus and Share your Vision for the Road Ahead.
Don’t Waste Your Energy on those who don’t get on your Bus.
Post a Sign that says “No Energy Vampires Allowed” on your Bus.
Enthusiasm attracts more Passengers and Energizes them during the Ride.
Love your Passengers.
Drive with Purpose.
Have Fun and Enjoy the Ride.
This is just the tip of the iceberg of what Jon Gordon has to give. I highly recommend reading all of his books, signing up for his newsletter, and utilizing every resource Jon has to offer!
