attitude determines altitude: CHANGING THE CULTURE WILL CHANGE THE OUTCOME - 11/07/21 07:45 PM
Positive outlooks lead to positive results. Attitudes, behaviors, beliefs, and values make up a culture. Every organization has a culture, but the real question is whether it is a culture that produces positive outcomes. If it does not you may need an intervention to help sort out the culture you have versus the culture you want.
Attitudes drive culture. Zig Ziglar said it best, “Your attitude determines your altitude.” The fact is that people do not put enough emphasis on how attitude affects performance. As leader you create the inspiration and model the optimum behavior.

attitude determines altitude: WHAT DOES YOUR CULTURE SAY ABOUT YOUR TEAM? - 04/07/19 07:30 PM

How would you describe the culture of your team, your office, or your company?  What does your culture say about your team?  Culture is something that can be observed by an outsider.  Make sure that your customers see the proper culture.
Attitudes drive culture. I love what Zig Ziglar said, “Your attitude determines your altitude.” The fact is that people do not put enough emphasis on how attitude affects performance. If you are the leader of the organization your attitude affects the culture of your organization and, ultimately, its performance.

attitude determines altitude: HIGH PERFORMERS ALSO HAVE A GREAT ATTITUDE - 04/01/18 06:42 PM

Do you think that attitudes are important to performance? If you don’t, consider the fact that most terminations occur because attitudes and behaviors rather than lack of skills.
I love what Zig Ziglar said, “Your attitude determines your altitude.” The fact is that people do not put enough emphasis on how attitude affects performance. Yes, attitudes DO affect performance. In fact, they affect everything that we do.

attitude determines altitude: ATTITUDES ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN SKILLS - 07/16/17 08:00 PM

Look at your real estate business an ask yourself this question about your organization.  Do I spend most of my time developing my team in the areas of skills and knowledge?  I am guessing the the majority said yes.
It seems that when many managers hire people they spend a tremendous amount of time on resumes, skills and knowledge. And yet people usually don’t fail because of lack of skills. It is usually bad behavior, bad actions, or bad attitude.
Several years ago, I heard Zig Ziglar speak. He said, “Your attitude determines your altitude.” What do YOU think about when you … (60 comments)

attitude determines altitude: SKILL OR WILL? - 10/04/15 09:28 AM
What do you think is most important for a new person in Real Estate?  Is it skill or will?  You can have all the knowledge in the world.  But knowledge is not power.  The application of knowledge is power.  Don't be fooled by knowledge and experience.
I work largely with privately held and family held businesses. But in that arena I have worked with many industries ranging from real estate, construction, retail, service and hospitality, nonprofit, and manufacturing. I have made the same observation in all of these industries. Those running the business believe that their industry is different from others, … (67 comments)

attitude determines altitude: A New Day - Try Using Your Breaks - 02/14/14 11:17 PM

Richard and Beth Witt have a very important message here using a play on words.  We are filled with negative information but we need to stop when we hear that and re shift our focus.  Rather than thinking about what can go wrong re shift focus on what can go right and how we can make it happen.

It's important to realize that there is one and only one thing in life that is completely within our power to control and that is our thoughts. We may not be able to control what happens to us but we are always able to … (10 comments)
