Let me apologize upfront for what is sure to be a "log winded" (no pun intended) post. I feel there is a lot of information that needs to be gone over.
One of the hottest topics in the local news (and the local Restaurants) is the proposed Wind Turbine project located at 178 New Haven Road, Prospect. BNE Energy is hoping to construct two 1.6 megawatt wind turbines (windmills). This site islocated directly across from Lee Road and George Street on Route 69 in Prospect. It's starting to look A LOT Like Christmas, Here in Prospect Connecticut anyway. - 12/06/10 11:18 AM
Well I guess we all knew it was coming, and I guess since we are New Englander's we are lucky it took this long. The first snow of the season hit our section of Central Connecticut. Most of the Neighboring towns of Cheshire, Naugatuck and Waterbury had light accumulation like 1-3". Prospect had twice that, after all the "Town on the Hill" always seems to get harder hit.
On my way to the office I snapped some photos around town. Did the storm hit you?

The Cheshire Community Chorus will be presenting their "Sights and Sounds of the Season" concert on
Sunday December 13 at 3 pm. This will take place at Dodd Middle School at 100 Park Place, Cheshire Ct. It is always very entertaining, and great family fun. They will be performing a large selection of songs that will entertain all age groups!
