A couple of Easters ago a parent approached me in tears.  His little girl missed the egg hunt.  My son noticed her and left his peer group to give his Easter eggs to the little girl saying " I really don't need them." Caring without hesitation.
 In the 2nd grade, his teacher commented that there was a student in the class who was "slow".  When other kids would shun or make fun of him,  he would help the young boy or sit beside him at lunch. He included him in dodge ball with the group.
