harrisonburg real estate: Harrisonburg and Rockingham County Real Estate Market Report: September 2011 - 10/11/11 10:27 AM
We’re one-third of the way through the third quarter of 2011. Can you believe it?! Last month, we reported in the August Market Report that the gap in residential sales was closing from last year to this year (in July, the difference in YTD sales was -6%, in August it was -2%). Well, we have great news… September’s numbers are in, and that gap has closed and moved into the positive! Sales in 2011 are up 2.2% over 2010 so far. harrisonburg real estate: Another Development Downtown? - 01/27/09 09:00 AM
The Daily News Record reported today that a real estate developer out of Charlottesville, Virginia, will be going in front of the Harrisonburg City Council this evening to propose a 66-apartment project on 2 acres to be developed in Downtown Harrisonburg. "A developer will seek City Council’s help tonight to get state financing for a proposed downtown four-story, 110,000-square-foot building for apartments and commercial space."
