cats: Life is what happens.... - 03/07/12 03:39 PM
My dearest friend Margaret Rome is one of the most active Rainers, but I am at the other end of the scale. It's been more than a year since my last post, for Pete' sake! In that time I've: Moved from Maryland to Oregon Spent a couple of weeks driving across this amazing country in what we figure will be the only trip of that type we'll take, Prepared one house for sale and sold it, Found a new house in 4 days and bought it, and learned what most of you already know: that the business varies by region. cats: Clicking for Kibble - 04/27/10 02:36 PM
There's a young lady in Oregon who has fed a lot of hungry cats and dogs. Not by taking them food, but rather by using the power of the Internet to stock the shelves of shelters across the country with almost 110 TONS of cat and dog kibble. Mimi Ausland is a seventh grader who believes in making a difference in the lives of shelter animals. cats: Thoughtful Thursday - 01/14/10 04:18 PM

In the past days I've learned things about him I never knew, thought a lot about him, and find that sad as it is, I'm looking forward to seeing many family members this weekend. We will drink toasts to him, we will

cats: The "Cheaper than Therapy" Meme - 09/02/08 08:08 PM
Marti got me...and then Margaret got me for the same meme. Hmmm....do I get double credit? I am... happier than I have ever been before in my life. I think... good friends are more valuable than any amount of money or property. Ever try to get a hug from a hundred dollar bill? I want... to fly a jet fighter – a life-long dream that's not likely to come true, but I still want it! I have... found my soul mate, life mate, best friend, husband, and a terrific guy who keeps me laughing. It took a long time, but so
