The Need for Newcomers and First-time Buyers to Prepare
I feel so happy with the warm response I got on my book title: "How to Prepare to Own a Home in Canada: recession-proof lifestyle for immigrants and first-time buyers."
Indeed, quite a number of people have realized the need for such guide book.
I was inspired to even just have the thought of writing it. And now it's out there. Canadian libraries from British Columbia to Ontario province have requested and stocked copies of this book. Bookstores such as Chapters.indigo.ca and Amazon.ca also facilitate the book's availability.
"Sometimes, no matter how basic it is to handle money, we forget the necessity to understand the impact of our behaviour when disposing of money."

As a follow up to a post I've written some while ago on being a rainmaker, a good article I've come across in the community can be found in the link that follows.
I know some of us might still be curious about what exactly this network of rainmakers exactly offers to us
all members?
Eversince I've joined Activerain, I've always had this high regard for the network.
I can say that there's never been a more empowering internet tool a real estate professional could ever have than to be visible to the public you serve.
So, whether you have been in the business for that long or just starting out, to be a part of this real estate network is certainly a plus.
So looking back, (and that is since 2006... when Activerain was still an infant), I would always have this happy and proud remark for them for their achievement, "Wow this real estate network has grown tremendously!"
What more can I say, eh?

Looking at the Canada Line as the fastest means of transportation today to get to Downtown Vancouver from Richmond Brighouse, it has become apparent that Brighouse no doubt has continued to be the most desired place in Richmond to live in, work or shop.
We all know that whenever there's development going on as far as transportation project is concerned, the next big thing it promises is economic growth.
People these days are more willing to be relocated to the central part of Richmond for the simple reason that Canada Line could bring them closer to their place of destination, be it at work or shopping place.
So, why don't we look at some properties in Brighouse which are currently posted through the MLS Reciprocity.
To date, there are 253 units of condos posted on the MLS system. This should excite those people who may want to move or plan to relocate to Richmond and even those who just simply want to browse the area of Richmond Brighouse.
If you would like to schedule a private viewing of the units, please send your request by email.

Some time ago, people in the industry such as real estate agents, homebuyers and home sellers had to go through a very exhausting experience of getting raw leads, finding prospects and showing properties.
You have to physically do all the work. Of course, that was the only route available at the time.
When the internet technology has emerged and definitely has evolved, some people found a better approach to doing trading business on real estate, whether as a buyer or seller.
Even the MLS or Multiple Listing Service site has been utilized by thousands of Realtors listing properties and those agents representing the buyers, co-operating with other agents to find the right property for their client.
Who could not appreciate the fact that the business has improved tremendously by looking at the maximum benefits the ongoing internet technologies have to offer.
If you are in the prospect of buying or selling a home and you want immediate access to information about the real estate market, where else would you go to for fast results?
We should all learn to embrace the world of internet in one way or another if we are to thrive in this competitive world. We just have to be discreet which ones we would patronize, as in screening or qualifying which ones meet your needs or criteria.
Seeing the positive side of doing business on the net is one of the ways to keep up with real estate success.

Some people might think that real estate agents just simply earn substantial commissions. No more. No less. Or some might have the thought that what a real estate agent does is something just like what other sales people do anyway.
Some might even think that agents do work such little effort to equate such huge fees or commission income.
What do Real Estate Professionals actually have or had to do behind the showing and listing of houses on behalf of clients?
What some people may not realize is that real estate agents like business owners or entrepreneurs do run their business with significant funds to back their operations and marketing activities. It's not just something that you hang your licence in your office and voila, you are sure you are on your way up.
Other people must understand that most real estate agents maintain their office and therefore pay regular monthly fees.
Real estate people who are members of their local boards pay subscription/membership fees in order to maintain their affiliation and to conduct their business in accordance to the board's standard code of ethics, in addition to adhering to the industry standard.
Real Estate agents also maintain their licence and pay licensing fees annually. They also are required to go through continuing education which means that they attend various real estate courses to update their knowledge and guide their clients with the trading practice.
So, on top of all the marketing activities, there are so many things a real estate agent needed to take care of. And that of course would require not only time, but money, energy, perseverance and staying power in order to keep up with the challenges of the rise and fall of economy.
So who says that life of a real agent is that simple?
Well, I value everyone in the industry, especially those who give utmost dedication in what they do.
Kudos to all real agents who are still kicking despite experiencing the recession period.

Wow, it's been quite awhile since the last time I was here...I guess that was sometime late of July. Now when I logged into Activerain I realized how much I missed writing on my real estate and mortgage blog.
Oh well, how time flies really fast... students and teachers went back to school. And we are soon approaching autumn? I guess that's the beauty of enjoying the four seasons of the year, eh? There's always something exciting to look forward to.
I can't help but bring some more news as we go along. So much stuff has been going on and of course I'd like to share with our readers what we all could benefit upon.
Okay. First is the thought that we are now recovering from the recession. I hope that in one way or another we all have learned from this occurence.
I think what matters when we look at our own particular recession experience, is to look at the brighter side of this hurting economic circumstance.
It pays to recall the past if we look at it as the basis of how we will all go about the present and face the future...
...are we ready to move forward?
I guess that reminds me of the usual question I often ask my clients, "How ready are you to take the next steps?"
