Don't believe everything you see on the news! While there are parts of the Country that are struggling, the market in Idaho Falls remains stable. Properties are still selling for approximately 98% of List price and are selling in abounr 110 days. Homes are not appreciating at the record setting paces of 2006 & 2007 but they are still appreciating. An article on housingpredictor.com predicts Idaho Falls as one of the top 20 Real Estate Markets for 2008! Their predicted appreciation is 4.8%.
