Snooze and Losing Agents - 04/30/10 03:24 PM
How many times have we all wished we had done something that could have been beneficial to our business.  Then spend the next few months kicking ourselves that we didn't jump on something when it was available for little to no cost.  I.E.  such as those that wish they were on ActiveRain could have been rainmakers but now today they have to pay.  Snooze and lose type of scenario right?  I wouldn't waste any time on gaining another added marketing tool when it is available for free if there is a good chance it will help me gain more clients.

How to choose the right realtor for you! - 04/06/10 08:02 AM
Very good information to go by when choosing a realtor.
Via Jennifer S. Fisher (Keller Williams Realty):
Finding the ideal Realtor doesn't just happen by accident. It takes some research on your part. An important rule of thumb is to shop for the Realtor first, the house second.
First, you want to talk with several Realtors from several companies to learn about the different options they offer. If you aren't completely satisfied with what one has to offer, talk to another. The important thing is that you want a Realtor who will represent you to get the best home for the best money … (1 comments)

How to Get the Best Appraisal - 04/05/10 10:28 AM
Eddie has posted a great post on how to get the best appraisal.  As we all have had some real interesting things come up come appraisal time.

The origin of the Easter bunny. - 04/04/10 09:45 AM
What is the origin of the Easter bunny?

I thought this was some interesting information and figured why not pass it on.  I never really know about the origin of th Easter bunny.
Like the origin of Easter, the origin of the Easter Bunny has roots that go back to pre-Christian, Anglo-Saxon history. The holiday was originally a pagan celebration that worshipped the goddess Eastre. She was the goddess of fertility and springtime and her earthly symbol was the rabbit. Thus the pre-Christian Anglo-Saxons worshipped the rabbit believing it to be Eastre's earthly incarnation. When the Anglo-Saxons were converted … (8 comments)

Had to share this one... - 04/03/10 10:47 AM
Two campers are walking through the woods when a huge brown bear suddenly appears in the clearing about 50 feet in front of them. The bear sees the campers and begins to head toward them. The first guys drops his backpack, digs out a pair of sneakers, and frantically begins to put them on. The second guys says, "What are you doing? Sneakers won't help you outrun that bear." "I don't need to outrun the bear," the first guy says. "I just need to outrun you."

Now that is a good camping buddy to have.
