Homes in Pleasanton, especially those priced under $800K, continue to sell well.  I recently represented the seller of this beautiful, remodeled home in the Pleasanton Meadows neighborhood, and within walking distance to the Fairlands Elementary school. 
The home was priced at $569K and received a total of 10 offers, and went pending in just 6 days!!  It sold for over $600K, and closed in August of 2009.

I will never forget our family's move to Pleasanton, CA back in 1991.
My husband had just gotten a position with a computer company, and we were happy to escape the winter snow of the midwest.
We stayed at an apartment while we were house hunting, and as we looked around the homes available at the time in Pleasanton, we kept coming back to this Pleasanton Meadows neighborhood.  The elementary school that serves the neighborhood is called "the Fairlands Elementary", and sometimes people refer to the neighborhood as "Fairlands".
