Here are several examples of the faith component that was an important part of many people's involvement in the Extreme Makeover Home Edition project in Indianapolis.  A network has limited time to tell a story.  So you know that not everything can be included.  Here are a few examples of things I saw and heard about over the course of time from the planning of the McFarland home thru the day the show aired on ABC.

Estridge Extreme Closing Celebration Sunday afternoon - 05/17/09 09:07 PM
Being a real estate agent who works with new home builders, I am on the mailing list for Estridge and several other builders in the Indianapolis area.  About two months ago, I received a notification from Estridge that they were about to take on a project for Extreme Makeover Home Edition in Indianapolis.  As the word got out, response was overwhelming with thousands of offers to volunteer.  (Being on Estridge's mailing list, I was able to get in my volunteer request form early.)

For Estridge, Bernard McFarland, those who have benefitted Pack House 2000, the Brightwood-Martindale neighborhood of Indianapolis and the thousands of volunteers who put it all together, the wait is over May 17, 2009 as ABC airs Extreme Makeover Home Edition at 7 pm ET.  The show will feature the collective efforts of thousands who were able to build a two story home with a full basement plus an accessory library building in less than one week.

The minute you stop learning, you start losing your edge.  The real estate business has gone through many changes in the last fifteen years.  And it is constantly changing.  When the Internet started to become popular in the mid- to late-1990's it was like a revolution.  In a few short years we went from an MLS book that was published a few times per month to information-empowered consumers.  Since the rise of the Internet there have been several things happen that have changed the real estate landscape.  Here are a few examples:
