What is going on with Mr. Rangel (Chairman for "The Ways and Committee") ?
His leadership represents one of the influential panels of Capitol Hill over tax policy, social security and etc..
The Committee on Standard of Officials Conduct is investigating to find out if he violated house rules by accepting two trips to conferences in 2007 and 2008 from corporations (recently reported income of $500,000.00).
The Republicans has voiced several resolutions in the past year to remove Mr. Rangel from office (40 Democrats to remove by vote - 2 Democrats voted against him during that time).
