Description: A community interest in the local environment has led the Parks & People Foundation to extend the dates of the Great Gwynns Falls Trail Hunt into the beginning of fall, with a new end date of October 14. The extended date allows participants more time to discover Baltimore’s history just as the leaves begin to change. The Hunt is a joint project of the Parks & People Foundation and the Gwynns Falls Trail Council. A historical “scavenger hunt” contest, the Great Gwynns Falls Trail Hunt helps participants uncover Baltimore’s past while enjoying the natural setting of the Gwynns Falls Trail.
