The extended date allows participants more time to discover Baltimore’s history just as the leaves begin to change. The Hunt is a joint project of the Parks & People Foundation and the Gwynns Falls Trail Council. A historical “scavenger hunt” contest, the Great Gwynns Falls Trail Hunt helps participants uncover Baltimore’s past while enjoying the natural setting of the Gwynns Falls Trail.

What: The annual Maryland State Fair is one of the biggest events in the region that each year attracts upwards of half a million visitors over its 11-day run. Originally a livestock show, the event now includes live entertainment, music, exhibitions and circus acts.
