Every Thursday morning, real estate agents have an opportunity to view homes in San Marino, before the general public.
Today, I brought my handy dandy Kodak V705 to snap a few pics and decided to capture initial impressions.

Oklahoma is coming to San Marino! - 02/24/08 10:05 AM
Huntington Middle School kids have been working every day after school for the last month to make this year's musical production - Oklahoma - a night to remember!
Tickets are on sale now at Huntington Middle School's office. Regular tickets are $15 each and this coming Thursday, students will be able to get in for only $5.00.
Huntington Middle School can be found at 1700 Huntington Drive or you can visit the HMS website at http://www.hehms.us/.
Oklahoma opens next week with four performances on February 28th, 29th, March 1st and 2nd.
As a mom of one of the cowboys, I hope to see ya'll there!

Camelias in bloom in La Canada's Descanso Gardens - 02/23/08 06:52 PM
I think I'm getting hooked on Camelias. Who would have known? My new house in San Marino has a ton of camelia bushes. Each one unique - albino white, rose, red, striated, etc. Even though camelias are growing all over San Gabriel valley and are very prevalent in San Marino and Pasadena, I never realized how absolutely gorgeous these flowers are.
George Harrison and his beautiful wife Karen invited me to attend a camelia show at the Descanso gardens. Camelia aficianados from the area come out to share their beautiful blooms and hopefully win some prizes - all sorts of cut crystal.

How stimulating is the Economic Stimulus Bill? - 02/21/08 02:11 PM
On February 13th, President Bush signed the Economic Stimulus Bill into law. There has been a lot of confusion as to the details with the most critical question what will the new conforming loan amount be?
A conforming loan amount is simply the amount of money that a bank will lend you at lower interest rates. Currently, this amount is set at $417,000. So... if you were to buy a home for $600,000 and put 20% as down payment ($120,000), you would need to get a "non-conforming" loan or what the banks call a jumbo loan of $480,000.

I hear that question all the time. What does the question really mean?
Do you truly care about what's going on in Phoenix, if you live in Pasadena, CA? Do you care about how the market is doing in Pasadena, if you live in San Marino, CA?
As a real estate broker, the answer is yes... I care. As a seller or buyer, I couldn't care less.
I just sold my house. It is located in San Gabriel, but has San Marino schools. The first thing I did when I was thinking of selling my house, is to learn what was going on on my street. … (16 comments)

It's first thing in the morning here in the beautiful Atlanta, Georgia. This is my 3rd Keller Williams Family Reunion.
The first one was two years ago when I was invited as a guest to come and see what Keller Williams was all about. Once I got there, there was no going back. Keller Williams had me hooked. San Marino High School Athletics - Weekly Update - 02/05/08 09:39 AM
Boys Basketball lost to Temple City and South Pasadena. Their overall record is 8-17 and their league record is 1-7.
Girls basketball defeated Temple City but lost to South Pasadena. Their overall record is 12-12 and their league is 3-5 and they are now eligible for a CIF playoff birth.
Boys Soccer defeated South Pasadena, but lost to Temple City. Their overall record is 6-12-1 and their league is 2-5-1.
The girls soccer team defeated Temple City, but lost to South Pasadena. Their overall record is 10-4-2, their league is 5-2-1 and looks like they will be qualifying for the playoffs. … (5 comments)
