I was just reading my friend's William's Active Rain Post on the Grand Opening of The Races at Del Mar and thought that I'd share our local Santa Anita Race Track which was featured in 365 Things Around Pasadena™
So... here's a bit of history:
Day 228 of 365 Things Around Pasadena™ brings us to Arcadia and Santa Anita Park.

Opened Christmas Day, 76 years ago, this is the oldest racetrack in Southern California. Designed in the Art Deco style by architect Gordon B. Kaufman, this Park has quite a colorful history.

What makes it great about living in San Gabriel valley is the many communities and cities that are right next to one another. Arcadia is located just East of Pasadena and is known for its great school district.
I thought that it might be interesting to take a look at the top 3 sold in Arcadia for February of 2011.
There were 36 Single Family Homes sold in Arcadia California in the month of February ranging from $225,000 to $3,280,000. 4 of these sales were distressed, bank owned sales. These foreclosures were in the range of $285,000 to $925,000.
