Yes... i woke up early, and I mean early - 6:30 am - to get to Lacy Park and save a space for this evening's fireworks and celebration!  Hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th of July!

lacy park: Halloween in San Marino California - 10/26/08 02:44 PM
What a fun day we had in San Marino yesterday. 

In the morning, my family and I joined the rest of the community for a pancake breakfast at Huntington Middle School.  Later, we made our way to Lacy Park for it's first Annual Halloween Dog Parade.

lacy park: Is San Marino CA ready for a dog park? (Localism Featured) - 10/01/08 03:20 PM
Last night I attended a San Marino Community meeting discussing a proposed San Marino City Dog Park in Lacy Park.  Derek Barker, a student at San Marino High School felt so passionately about having a place to run his dogs that he decided to undertake this initiative as his Eagle Scout project.
San Marino Recreation Committee met held a public meeting at the Crowell Library to hear feedback from the community on this matter. 
 
The proposed dog park will be located in San Marino's Lacy Park on the West side not too far from the tennis courts.  14,500 sq. ft. area that has … (17 comments)

Come on out and support our San Marino Firefighters this Saturday at Lacy Park in San Marino. 
This annual breakfast has become one of my familys favorite traditions.  
Herere some reasons to be there:
The San Marino firemen are majorly cute! Its for a good cause. Its only $5 for a great breakfast made by the cutest firefighters in San Marino.  Oops, did I say they were cute again?  :-) There are activities for the kids.  In the previous years, we had hot air balloon rides, firetruck rides, raffles, etc. Pancakes are always yummy and somehow they taste so much better at Lacy Park.  … (3 comments)

Yes... it's a Tradition for my family and friends to celebrate our country's birthday at Lacy Park on 4th of July!
Each year, I wake up early in the morning, grab a couple of blankets, run to Starbucks (hard as I try and after many spills, I still can't resist going to Starbucks), drive over to Lacy Park and join a slew of people waiting for the gates to open.  Most of the time, I only make this trip once that morning.  Although, I have to admit, on a few occasions, I had to go back home and come back.  Why?  … (2 comments)
