OSU Beaver Fans Take Over Bay Area - 12/31/07 02:36 PM
I went to the 2008 Emerald Bowl at San Francisco's AT&T Park, what a blast. I watched the OSU Beavers beat the Maryland Terps and felt proud to be a class of "92" Beaver.  The Beavers VS. The Turtles, anyway after attending the bowl luncheon the previous day a few  classmates and myself traveled to the stadium and joined the festivities at pier 48 then followed the orange and black crowd into the stadium.  It was great seeing the beavs play well. The Stadium was dominated with the Beaver Nation, we've come a long way.

Matt Irvin The Musician - 12/31/07 12:47 AM
After doing a search on google I found a great musician with the same name as mine.  I wonder if we are related? I like his ability to produce the music all himself, it seems he uses some type of recording machine, very creative and you can see the talent. Whats funny is I do have relatives from Australia on my fathers side. Apparently the roots go back to England. Anyway I have followed Matts progress through the last year or so and he has created this video on youtube.

MEDIA SPIN Seems to be slowing down a bit - 12/27/07 09:09 AM
It seems as of late that the media has been backing off a bit on the negative press in regards to the real estate market.  I have noticed less headlines, less negative TV spots, etc.   The good thing about spin is it gets old and people get sick of the same news.  I wonder if there is a correlation between the media spin slowing down and some recent sales activity I have noticed? … (0 comments)

Contra Costa County Subdivisions - 12/26/07 12:18 AM
Being a second generation real estate professional has some advantages.  My father saved most original brochures from new subdivisions from the 50's till present.  Most include original floorplans and price.  Its nice to have as a resource during listing presentations and such, most of the time the homeowner does not know the original model name, builder etc.  Eventually I would like to scan and add to this blog so everyone could access.
