I went through this same type of market in 1990. Seeing that this could be a great time to kick up my business I opened my own Realty Executives office. I have now gone from agent to owner/ broker/manager of a Real Estate office. Something I have found while looking for quality agents for my office, is a lack of excitement for the future of real estate. Many of the agent I have spoken to are complacent and stagnate in their existing office. I wonder why so many of us are happy with a stagnate life. I am looking for people that are excited about the future and see this as a time when the mediocre agent is weeded out and the "stars" come out to shine.
