Real Estate Investing, Huntsville, Alabama - 04/19/08 06:51 PM
It's no surprise that the current real estate crunch is hitting some markets harder than others. Wobbling prices and sales volumes have sent a lagging shock to the rental markets, but it has been interesting to note that supply and demand have pushed different markets in different directions.

In other areas, however, the situation is the reverse. Tightness in the financial markets has pushed many … (0 comments)

Average sales price versus Price per square foot....Huntsville, Alabama, Real Estate - 04/19/08 06:47 PM

When it comes to supply (homes on the market) and demand (homes sold) there is little difficulty, as these indicators are straight forward unit statistics easily obtained and measured. However, pricing is another matter as some average must be used and all … (1 comments)

Possible tax credit to purchase foreclosures. - 04/04/08 06:50 PM

I was sent this information today from an REO company that I worked with in Nashville and thought I would pass it along. I think the $15,000 tax credit is an interesting idea, but wonder what it will do to existing home sales that aren't in foreclosure in areas with high foreclosure inventories. In the grand scheme of things, if it helps to clean up the market, I suppose it will be a good thing, but time will tell, most definitely!
