Please say a prayer for my Mother - 09/23/08 07:38 PM
Here I sit, in Nashville with my Mother. She was brought to the hospital by ambulance early Sunday morning. She had been sick all night and it just wouldn't stop. So, she called 911, thankfully, and here we sit! I miss my Dad so much right now. We lost him in April 2007. He was always the healthy one but did not survive a simple surgery. We were all in shock, but no one more so than my Mother. They were best friends, and he took care of her. My Mother has been hospitalized more times than I can remember, with (61 comments)
Parks in Madison Alabama. What a great life! - 09/16/08 07:58 PM
If you enjoy the outdoors, you will love Madison Alabama. Madison is a family oriented community and goes above and beyond to keep the focus on family. Madison is home to an amazing Parks and Recreation system, with Dublin Park and Palmer Park being two of the largest. There are currently 33 parks in this thriving community. You will find smaller parks dotted in neighborhoods where you would least expect one, making it a wonderful surprise to find! At Palmer Park, you will find a special playground for the handicapped. No longer will these children feel left out. Much thought went into planning (2 comments)
MEME - 09/15/08 07:20 PM
I am-So darn tired tonight. Am I really getting old? I Think-I will get some much needed rest tonight! I can-get this list completed....can't I? I want-My children to always have unconditional love and true happiness in their hearts, now and always. I want them to never have a bad day and to always love themselves as much as I love them. I have-A wonderful life. So lucky to have a wonderful husband and 2 beautiful children. My dog is the BEST, hands down. I wish-No child would ever go hungry, or ever have to suffer from abuse. I wish the (14 comments)
Milken Institute has just released their 2008 Report on the Best Performing Cities where America's Jobs are created and sustained. The Huntsville Metro Area has moved up from 16th in the 2007 report to 5th in 2008. The report credits a broad rebound in the Technology Sector along with Exports and Energy production as the cause of a dramatic change in the top 10 cities. Several metro areas that have dominated the rankings in recent years have (6 comments)
When I made the decision to relocate to Huntsville Alabama, I quickly discovered there were many great options in the Real Estate market here. I have written several articles, about various areas of Huntsville. In doing so, I hope this makes your home search a bit easier! East Limestone County has experienced tremendous growth in the last few years. For example, since the year 2000 the Limestone County Commission has approved 68 new residential subdivisions with 2,342 single family lots, in this area to the west of the Huntsville and Madison city limits. This has of course drawn the attention (0 comments)
I'm proud to live in the United States of America and I"m proud of "US" as fellow human beings. I'm very proud to be a resident of Madison Alabama at this very moment. I just received this from our HOA president and it brought tears to my eyes, of course. I think we have all struggled today, waiting for the horrific memories of 9/11 to be over, for today anyway. Reliving the moment has been hard for all of us, all proud Americans. I am quite certain I am not alone when I say I remember exactly where I (6 comments)
