Anticipation - What are you looking forward to this morning?  I realized just a little bit ago how important that question is.  Let me explain. 

Yesterday I sat at my desk looking out the window for most of the day, watching and waiting for the UPS AND the FedEx trucks.  Why?  Well, because I was anticipating 2 separate deliveries from Apple!  Yes, I am finally getting an iPad.  

But, wait!  No, the iPad was not scheduled to be delivered yesterday.  You see, I ordered directly from Apple so I could get their free engraving on the iPad.  For that reason, it has not even shipped yet.  But I did get the iPad cover and docking station yesterday.  I knew that is all that was being delivered yesterday but yet I was so excited about it!

Do you know how difficult it is to get little parts of my Apple order but not the thing I am looking forward to the most?  Oh my goodness!  Another part of my order is being delivered today and yes, I am already looking out the window and watching for it.  

As I realized just how much anticipation there is about an electronic device, I was saddened to think about how LITTLE excitement and anticipation there is about Jesus Christ.  Jehovah, the Name above all names, Savior, King of Kings, Lord of lords.  We get little tastes of the love of Christ every single day in so many different ways but are we excited about that?  Do we look forward to being with Him in throughout every part of our day?  

Internet access is not needed with Jesus Christ.  He is ALWAYS available.  The connection will not be lost unless YOU choose to not to turn to Him.  Jesus Christ - there will NEVER be a newer, improved, faster, or better model because He is already the Perfect Son of God!  Do you know Him?

Today I choose to so spend my day anticipating my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ - Son of God, Son of Man.
