phh short sales: Worst Short Sale Lenders of the Year Awards - 01/02/10 11:35 AM
Each year I give out awards for the worst short sale lenders I have dealt with in the last twelve months. Congratulations to our 2009 winners!
1. PHH - Now Waiting 9 Months for Approval and Counting PHH Mortgage has had a VA Compromise Offer since February 2009 for a Niceville Florida short sale. They were so lame as to do a VA appraisal back in July, then let that expire after six months because they were so slow, and had to order a new one. The sale is still is not approved.

phh short sales: PHH/Coldwell Banker Mortgage Approves Destin Short Sale - But Not In Timely Manner - 11/29/09 10:59 AM
This Destin Florida home on 90 Legion Park Loop was just approved for short sale by PHH, who services Coldwell Banker Mortgage. Mortgage Balance: $400,000 apprSale Price: $185,000 apprFaxed short sale package: September 29 (final contract) AND April 24 (initial contract)Received Approval: November 19Time for Approval: Almost SEVEN months **
**Notes: Original short sale contract (buyer walked) was submitted on April 24. PHH/Coldwell Banker Mortgage never finalized approval on that submission. Thus, the second contract faxed on September 29 was just a continuation of the initial process. phh short sales: PHH Competes for Top Spot in Yearly "Worst Short Sale Lenders" List - 11/05/09 03:59 PM
PHH Mortgage is vying for Top Spot in my yearly list- "10 Worst Short Sale Lenders". PHH is a servicer of mortgages for companies such as Merrill Lynch Credit Corporation, Provident Bank, UMB, Bank Atlantic, Banco Popular, etc. Their poor service prompted today's email to the negotiator for a Niceville Florida short sale:
