Beyond the Beach: A look at South Bay Real Estate
Southern California's South Bay is the area just South of LAX, the Southern portion of Santa Monica Bay. While border cities like Marina Del Rey and Playa Vista are often included when people speak of the South Bay, the board of Real Estate's area map begins with El Segundo. The South Bay stretches along the coast past Manhattan and Redondo Beach, as far as the Port of Los Angeles and San Pedro.
