I'm running a series of posts on VeryVintageVegas about the many designs we find in all the vintage and historic neighborhoods of Las Vegas. I've collected pictures of about 50 of them, and am running them as a daily feature.

Stone Screens, as they're often called are named after a rather famous Mid Century Modern Architect named Edward Durell STONE. We see them used as privacy screens, accents, block wall edges and in many other ways.

mid century modern homes for sale in historic las vegas is the specialty of Jack LeVine who is the author of VeryVintageVegas.comSimple, yet elegant curves.

From the 1960’s neighborhood called Winterwood which is on both sides of Sahara Avenue, EAST Of Nellis Boulevard on the far west side. There’s a lot of modernism, as well as ranch style.

Our company has a very interesting mid mod listing there, but geographically it’s not really in Vintage Vegas as I define it. It’s way east of what we normally focus on. The block pattern we’re looking at today is across the street from it. But if you’re focus is purely on Mid Century Modern then Winterwood should be on you list.

Las Vegas historic retro and vintage homes for sale are the specialty of Jack LeVine of Keller Williams RealtyCombining this pattern into rotating groups of 4 blocks gives us 2 different trompe d’oleil bigger patterns.

Mid Century Modern Homes For Sale In Las VegasA reader emailed me, and said I should be showing the bigger or total wall so that we can see it in context. When I took most of the pictures during the last several years, I didn’t do that. I think it’s much more fun for YOU to take a drive and find them in context for yourself. I happen to have a picture of this one, so here it is.
