Why I Can't Tell You if the Long Island Home Is Overpriced or Not
When I am working with a buyer and showing them homes listed with brokerages other than my own brokerage, I am a Broker's Agent. Therefore, I am representing the seller. (Read about agency relationships here.)
With that said, when you ask me if the home you are interested in is overpriced, I won't and can't tell you.

I listed this Lindenhurst NY short sale on 12/31/11 and got a buyer a few days later. We closed on May 25th, 2012. It's always a relief for the homeowners and the buyer.
For the sellers, they feel like a heavy weight has been lifted off their shoulders. For the buyer, they are relieved the bank accepted their offer and now they have a new home for the first time.

I am obsessed. My husband bought a Canon Rebel T2i DSLR for me this past Christmas. Knowing I can get awesome close-up shots, I take photos of almost everything now.

During our conversation, they were upfront and told me they were working with other agents. Whoa, hold on! I politely said that I do not run around hoping you will buy a home from me.
