2008 was a great year wasn't it?
Sold prices decreased 10.77% in 2009 compared to 2008.
Sold Prices decreased 1% through May 2010 compared to month ending April, 2010. Here is the chart from last month:

Short Sale Homes in West Babylon that were listed in 2009, increase by 1,050% compared to 2008.
As of April 30th, 2010, 27 homes in West Babylon were listed as short sales. 11 short sale homes were listed in 2009. The short sale real estate market is not over. Each month I'm going to update this chart for 2010 so we can see how the short sale real estate market is doing.

West Babylon NY Sold Homes Prices For 2008 Thru April 2010

2008 was a great year wasn't it?
Sold prices decreased 10.77% in 2009 compared to 2008.
Sold Prices decreased 0.96% so far for 2010 compared to 2009. I will be posting these figures once per month so we can all keep an eye on the West Babylon Real Estate Market.

With the new short sale federal program, it will take many months until we know if banks are moving faster with approving short sales.
