Has anyone else received the most recent Ballard Designs catalog in the mail? Mine actually came several days ago, but I just had time to check it out today.
I get a real kick out of reading the little blurbs they attach to some of their merchandise. On page 77 of the catalog they are highlighting the new Kingston Bedroom collection. There is a handwritten tag describing the process as to how Ballard Designs came to find inspiration for this collection in the original antique piece they found in Brussels. The … (15 comments)

I make no mistake about the importance of alliances with Realtors and agents in the staging industry and how they impact my business. I highly value the relationships I have and am building with those in the real estate industry locally and nationally. Everyone knows the importance of having a web presence, especially in an industry such as I work. Realtors® and clients like to be able to type their way to an address, coming to call so to speak.
I don't know about you, but I kind of like having visitors. I get to welcome folks in and help them feel welcome and important, as though I've been anxiously waiting to see them; and usually I am(well, except for the eldest's 6 friends that would pop in unannounced to eat everything in the house, trash the kitchen and then try to sneak out, pretending … (15 comments)
