How you can check your credit report
Get a copy of your free credit report annually at https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp.  You will not see credit scores on this report.Review it carefully for errors.Dispute any account that does not belong to you by writing to the bureau that is reporting the information.  You may have only one or all three bureaus reporting on each account.  The bureau that is reporting is encoded as: BX1= Experian, BU1= TransUnion, BQ1 = Equifax.  The contact information for each bureau can be found near the end of the credit report.  (If the credit report also lists CX1, CU1 or CQ1, there … (1 comments)
