33rd Annual St Patrick's Day Parade in Downtown Spokane coming up this Saturday - 03/10/11 07:19 PM
 
Don't miss Spokane's annual parade celebrating St. Patrick's Day this Saturday.  The colorful and enthusiastic celebrants will be winding their way through downtown starting at noon.  The parade route is similar to past years and curb side seating gives everyone a great look at the creative, noisy and green clad participants. 
                                                                                                                                                                   The Spokane River does not turn green (like the Chicago River) but green libations (beer?) are offered in local pubs.  There will be leprechauns, bagpipers,  Irish dancers as well floats and horses.   There are also plenty of clowns, cars and candy.  And lots of green everywhere you look.
