Known as the "garden spot" of the Pascack Valley, River Vale is full of tree-lined streets and thousands of acres of parkland and open space.  Much of River Vale borders the Lake Tappan Reservoir.  The town has a rich history and was the site of the famous Baylor  Massacre in the Revolutionary War. I'm really glad to live in such a great town where everything is so beautiful and clean!!!   The school system seems to continue to set the standard and ranks number 23 in NJ!    River Vale is in a great location close to everything convenient!
