De Soto National Memorial - Bradenton, Florida - 01/14/12 06:17 PM
De Soto National Memorial, located in Bradenton, Florida, at the southern end of Tampa Bay, is a charming place to learn some of Florida's history and experience an enjoyable walk through mangroves at the same time.  The park has an interesting hands-on exhibition and also offers an interesting lecture of the expedition of Hernando de Soto into Tampa Bay in 1539.   This is an excellent opportunity to learn about 16th century life of the Spanish and Native Americans.  Enjoy the photos.
