A true story, it really did happen. I’ve been working with a couple for a couple of months. Anyway I’ve only shown them about 4 homes and I could tell they were anxious to buy one. They have made two offers and were outbid on both. We had an appointment to look at two yesterday. About 15 minutes before the time I had already backed into the driveway unlocked the door and looked around. I received a call saying the female was ill and they would not make it. No problem here I just shut the door and left. Later (13 comments)
Bell is the new word of the day. Yes the spelling is correct and no it is not the first thing that came to mind. It is however something I’ve heard before. So the meaning of (bel) is to utter long, deep sounds, as a hound in pursuit of game. Did you know the meaning? . Join us tomorrow for another (10 comments)

Word is the new word of the day. I started this series of blogs awhile back and got to enjoy it so I started Wordsmith here in the Rain. I find those words most of us haven’t heard of and if we did they are so obscure most of us don’t know their meaning. My intent all along has not been to stump people or anything other than to open their minds and eyes. The English language has many words as you now know that while we think we know their meaning we learn each day there are different meanings (12 comments)
Foy is the new word of the day. Okay what we have here is a failure to communicate. What that has to do with this word is absolutely nothing just felt like writing that today.
