Coulee is the new word of the day.
When I first saw this word it reminded me of either the Chinese or Japanese workers but in any respect I thought I knew the meaning of this word.  Having almost just glanced and going on I stopped and read the meaning.  Surprise so the meaning of (koo’le) is a deep gulch or ravine, usually dry in summer.  Join us tomorrow for another journey into the wonderful world of Wordsmith.

Penultimate is the new word of the day.
Interesting word I have here isn’t it.  Well to tell you the truth (not that I would lie) this is going to be a difficult word to write about.  There are some of you who do not agree with me and my views.  Heck the best friend I have at the office and I disagree on both religion and politics.  However I will penultimate him and his thoughts.  By the way the meaning of (pe nul’te met) is to the last.  I will defend your right to voice your opinion no matter … (10 comments)

southwest missouri real estate: Rent is the new word of the day - 01/05/13 06:53 PM

Rent is the new word of the day.
Come on now give it a try.  If you answered as most would you would be right but not in this case.  Actually rent is in my Webster’s® three times and of course I’m using the last one and one for which most people won’t associate it with.  So anyway the meaning of (rent) is a hole or gap made by rending or tearing as a torn place in cloth.  Or a breach of relations as between persons or in an organized group: schism.  WOW! What say you?  Join us tomorrow for … (10 comments)

Epicene is the new word of the day.
Although this word has nothing at all to do with real estate at all when I read the meaning I just had to post it.  This is one of those words and its meaning that confuses me to no end.  I just don’t understand but I guess that is why I’m where I’m at in life and not at the top of the food chain.  Anyway the meaning of (ep’I sen’) is belonging to one sex but having characteristics of the other, or of neither.  Confused I know I am.  Join us … (6 comments)

Can we say been there done that?  I know I was able to withstand this problem in my younger years but now not so much. Nabob is the new word of the day.
I felt at one time I was there but then I woke up and found out it was just a dream.  It was a nice dream but as always I’ve had a steak dream with a hamburger wallet.  Although I don’t think I’ll ever make it there is no harm to dream the dream.  So to the meaning of (na’bab’) is a very rich or important man.  NO WAIT I am a very rich man, I’ve got a wife that loves me for over 44 years now and how many people can … (11 comments)

Mesne is the new word of the day.
Having been to real estate school I don’t recall this word showing up.  Just looked in the booklet provided and sure enough it’s not there.  But anyway it does exist so having found it I thought I would write about it.  Have you guessed its meaning?  If not join the crowd so the meaning of (men) middle; intermediate; intervening: mesne profits are profits accruing from the time possession of land has been improperly withheld from its rightful owner until his or her reinstatement in possession of the property.  That was a mouthful … (11 comments)

Chickee is the new word of the day.
I’ve seen these but not lately.  This for where it is located would be cheap to build.  If they say necessity is the reason you can sure put this one on the menu.  I bet ya this one was difficult to build with the tools at hand.  Anyway the meaning of (chik’e) is a Seminole Indian house built on stilts, with open sides and a thatched roof of palm leaves.

Shrive is the new word of the day.
Are you one of these?  People tell me this all the time and I feel sometimes it’s a good thing while at other times I feel it’s a curse.  I think most of us as agents to our clients there are certain things we need to know and the other stuff is just them getting it off their chest.  If you haven’t figured it out by now the meaning of (shriv) is to hear confessions.  So how many confessions have you heard in your careers?  Bet ya could write a book about … (8 comments)

Inanition is the word of the day.
Trust me I don’t have this affiliation although sometimes I wish I did.  Most of us as agents do not suffer from this but some do, the question is do you suffer from this?  The old saying the mind is willing but the body isn’t might be a good thought while you learn its meaning.  The meaning of {in’e nish’en} is lack of strength or spirit.  Sooooo do you have agents who show up for work but you can tell they just don’t have it in them any longer?  What say you?
